Our days this days...

We are three months away from celebraring our 10th year anniversary. Every one of them has been such a blessing, such a lesson. We are definitely in another stage and ready for many more to come!

A little review about our days around here! Sarah is growing and speaking all kinds of things, she repeats everything Gerson says, everything he does too.  She is a healthy and good eater! At church her lovely teacher will keep her sitting by handing her two cookies (one for each hand that is). She loves to dance and sing so far. Sleeps all through the night and a  long nap in the afternoon. I can't complain then for her craziness the rest of the hours she is awake :)

Gerson is about to finish his first year of homeschool with me and it has been quite a jorney. it is nothing usual to have homeschool in Honduras but also it is very common the lack of high quality education, support and extra curricular opportunities.   Unless of course you can afford one of the four very expensive private schools in town. :)  So we took our chances and here we are, one year later lots of sharing, development, language, math, music, art, family, God!

We set a goal to stablish and seatle down our family. Instead God had the plan to make us go through lots of changes. We moved to a new church facility en January. We became Score missioners last month and are now praying to be able to travel to the Dominican Republic to serve for a month and also to raise financial support to continue the ministry in Honduras.

We had to leave the house we were renting because of finances and now we are living with Daniel's family, hosted by his uncle and adapting to live in community after almost 10 years of total independence! God has another plan and we trust in His sovering grace everyday. This is how the room we are using looks like :) thankfully the kids now sleep in a bumpbed, so there it is, thanks to the Lord we have enough books to separate us all!!!
