Dear family in Christ,

God has been extremely good to us and we want to update you all with His blessings these last months.

Just this past July the 26th we celebrated our 8th anniversary. It came with the gift of been in Dominican Republic were we spent a hole month, our vacations, serving along with some beloved friends at Score International ministries. We, along with American groups got to share the gospel with athletes, orphans, and people from villages. We also worshiped at a local church were Daniel shared the Word of God the last Sunday.

Evaluating God’s work in our lives, we owe Him everything in our lives. This moves us to stand firm and want to serve Him more. At the moment we are ministering at a small church in San Pedro Sula for already two years, the church was independent but Daniel guided them to submit to the Jerusalem Baptist Church. They give us a love offering every month. It has been a time of establishing a good foundation and also training leaders. Although we both had to keep our jobs; working full time in schools. It is God who blesses the church and brings those new believers. The Lord has blessed us with five new families and singles two. Now a day we have two main groups of discipleship and about five personal discipleships. There are two groups of training; one for teachers and of New Testament Studies. We pray so God affirms our steps in the church and helps us to become a healthy growing one.

We have realized it has always been a great time of our lives when we host ministers in our home. We had a great time with Steven, now a Dr., Haley with heart for missions, Caroline, and more. Just in the past two years, right after we came back from the time our studies in the Bible Institute in Argentina, we had Bethany and Laura, they served in our church and in a school for about four months. We had a guy studying the church foundation options in Honduras. Dario and Keila, my sister, they came back from Argentina to start ministry with Word of Life and stayed for about two months with us before establishing, also The DeLuca Family. And for this new year we hope to welcome Megan and Ryan, Federico and Raquel, Lucas and Mercedez, all of them missioners and friends who want to serve in Honduras in a short or long term. How filled with joy we are when we can serve others in the Kingdom of God by hosting.

As a family we are living a very special time. Gerson Daniel, our first son now is two, he is growing healthy and smarter everyday. We are about to know face to face our second daughter Sarah Abigail, who is due to end of September. Our days run faster then we would want to having to run all the time from home to our jobs, to the church, and so. Still we try our best to glorify the Lord with a family that is strong and together.

And here is mainly were we are. We would love for you to join us in prayers while we go trough a time or organizing and focus our lives. We want to continue to serve the Lord, Daniel has a confirmed call to pastor and Evi to teach. We want to use our lives for the Kingdom more effectively without missing our first and most important ministry: the family.

Specifically we pray for:

• Our nation Honduras and christians that produces changes in society.
• Wisdom as parents and pastoring the church of God.
• A full time ministry A healthy arrival for Sarah Abigail A permanent house to keep receiving servants.

A nuestros amigos y hermanos en Cristo,

Glorificamos a Dios quien nos ha mantenido de manos ocupadas y cortos tiempos libres en sus negocios. Momentos en la vida de siembra y crecimiento familiar así como personal.

Hasta aquí Dios nos ha fortalecido con casi

ocho años de matrimonio. Nos llenamos el corazón de agradecimiento por su fidelidad y paciencia en este camino. Nos ha bendecido con dos hermosos hijos, Gerson cumplirá dos años en Junio y el/la segundo bebe esta en gestación y nacerá en Septiembre. Gerson ha tenido hasta ahora una buena salud, Dios es bueno. Algunos sobresaltos en

el camino por problemas respiratorios hereditarios pero controlables. Hasta sus diez y ocho meses Gerson pudo ir al trabajo con Evi sin embargo dada su edad, tuvimos que llevarle a donde la abuela Lily (mama de Evi) donde tiene mas espacio y comodidad. Sigue siendo un deseo en nuestro corazón que los niños, mas ahora que viene uno mas puedan compartir el tiempo en casa, bajo el cuidado de Evi. Sin embargo por ahora tendremos que mantener su trabajo. Las horas de trabajo fueron modificadas y ella puede llegar a casa a las 4 pm con Gerson. Nos vemos todos unos momentos para luego Daniel salir a los discipulados o reunión en la iglesia.

En todo tratamos de mantener nuestro tiempo de familia con preciado cuidado, sin embargo es corto y acelerado. Hemos invertido en un carro el cual nos ha sido financiado y estamos considerando las opciones de una vivienda propia. Gerson ya comenzó su estimulación y estudios con Evi, anhelamos hacer ¨escuela en casa¨ el próximo año ya formalmente. Acompáñanos en oración por nuestra familia, nuestro primer y más grande ministerio. Dio

s nos regala momentos inolvidables cada vez que Gerson junta sus manos para orar a Dios antes de comer, en la noche, en el baño o en cualquier ocasión que le parezca apropiada, que el Señor nos regale su gracia salvadora también sobre esta nueva generación.

El ministerio de la iglesia es un regalo inmerecido de Dios, en el aprendemos y crecemos junto a una congregación de cincuenta personas.

Estamos fortalecidos ahora mas que en cualquier otro momento a través de discipulados personales, siete personas van al frente han comenzado un segundo estudio mas retador. Ellos a su vez ya están reproduciéndose en otros para echar los cimientos con el

discipulado base, en el cual hay involucrados seis personas mas. Unas quince personas se han establecido en la iglesia, convertidas y en crecimiento, entre ellas hemos recibido tres familias.

Seguimos entrenando maestros para escuela dominical, la cual lleva un programa de estudio cronológico de la Biblia desarrollado por Evi, orando por crecer en infraestructura para poder acomodar las clases en aulas, especialmente los niños.

Los jóvenes están creciendo en su liderazgo, Edin y Denisse son muchachos muy comprometidos, oramos por su pasión evangelizadora, la cual les lleve a crecer también en número.

Las mujeres trabajan arduamente en un programa anual con el propósito de tratar temas del diario vivir de la mujer en nuestro medio. Paralelo durante este año se están haciendo actividades para recaudar fondos pro templo. Así también se mantiene una canasta básica mensual con el fin de suplir necesidades de los necesitados dentro de la iglesia.

Dios nos ha permitido mantener nuestros trabajos. Daniel trabaja como maestro de matemáticas y Biblia en una escuela bilingüe. Es un trabajo demandante pero al mismo tiempo comenzante en cuanto a la proyección ministerial dentro de la escuela. Siempre hay una oportunidad de edificar la vida de un niño y aun de una familia en aquel lugar. Oramos por el control de Dios en todo ya que las autoridades de gobierno están exigiendo a los maestros seguir con su preparación pedagógica, algo que no esta dentro del esquema a largo plazo para Daniel. Por otra parte Evi esta manteniendo su trabajo en el área ministerial de un instituto para músicos. Imparte clases de Biblia y algunas otras ministeriales. Este trabajo abre puertas a un ministerio inter-denominacional donde puede edificar las vidas de futuros ministros de diferentes iglesias.

Este es nuestro día a día hasta hoy. Nos alegramos en el Señor y confiamos en Su fidelidad para cada área de nuestras vidas. Oramos por su bendición y guianza en el ministerio que El nos ha encomendado; que Dios verdaderamente transforme las vidas, y que ellas promuevan una sociedad diferente en la cual respetemos la vida, ayudemos al prójimo, nos superemos y tengamos sobre todo temor al ¡Dios Vivo!
